Our Mission

Guided was born out of frustration with how we are (or not) preparing high school kids for the future. Our founder started working in educational consulting in 2009 and worked in Test Prep, Independent College Counseling and Content Creation. He constantly saw parents feeling lost, kids seeming overwhelmed and school counselors being overworked and underpaid. Nationally, student loan debt has continued to rise, our workforce weakening, and students and their parents still lack the resources to make better choices. So, our founder decided to do something about it.

Not every student needs to go to college. In fact, many will have a better, more financially stable, future if they do not go. For those that do go to college, rising costs and figuring out how to graduate with little debt has become extremely complicated. Therefore, we built a comprehensive system to guide families through the decision process to choose the best outcome possible.

Our team has decades of experience in private education consulting, in-school instruction, and education administration experience. We are honored you are seeking our help. Our mission is to keep cost reasonable so everyone can access expert educational consulting advice. It should not just be for the wealthy. Helping students make better choices about their future does not just improve their future happiness and financial stability, it strengthens our economy.
